Appeal For Witnesses Following Fatal Galway Crash

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road crash in Galway.

A 21 year old man was killed when the car he was driving collided with another on the Dunmore road at around 8.30pm yesterday.

A number of people including a toddler were also injured in the accident.

The 21 year old driver was killed in the accident involving two cars which happened on the N83 Tuam to Dunmore road at around 8.30pm yesterday.

A 21year old male passenger travelling in the same car also received minor injuries.

A 2 year old child, a 70 year old woman and the 74 year old male driver who were travelling in the other car all received minor injuries.

The stretch of road is currently closed as Gardai carry out a technical examination of the scene.

Anyone who may have witnesses the accident is asked to contact Gardai.
