Gardaí in Galway are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road accident yesterday.

A man in his 50’s died in the single vehicle crash when the van he was driving hit a wall on Shannon Road, at Portumna at 2.30pm.
He was the only occupant of the van and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardaí at Loughrea Station are appealing for witnesses.
