Anti-war demonstrators are holding a protest at Shannon Airport this afternoon.

13 years after the beginning of the U.S. war in Afghanistan, Shannonwatch and a number of other groups are voicing their opposition to the Airport's use by the American military.
This is currently under investigation by the Oireachtas Petitions Committee, but the government has remained steadfast in its view that it does not represent a breach of Irish neutrality.
