Residents and businesses in Tulla are being urged to conserve water as much as possible amid ongoing efforts to replenish the local reservoir.

Supply to the town and its environs is being shut off again overnight to allow water levels to recover – this will also affect group water schemes.
There has been a strain on the mains in recent months due to several issues including ESB outages and illegal extractions – which have now been addressed- while new pumps are also being installed.
Senior Executive Engineer at Clare County Council Hugh McGrath has moved to reassure water users that the stoppage wont continue into the weekend.
