Another jobs boost for Galway

Over 200 jobs for Galway and Dublin are set to be announced by  business software company SAP later.

The company  employs 55-thousand people around the world with around 12 hundred of those work at sites in Dublin and Galway.

It’s understood over 200 more are now in the pipeline at the company’s Irish operations, to be spread across their three offices.

The Taoiseach Enda Kenny is expected to be on hand for the official announcement at Citywest in Dublin later.

It’s the second IT jobs boost for Galway this week – on Monday Cisco unveiled plans to expand operations in Oranmore, bringing with it more than a hundred jobs.
