Bathers in Doolin are again being warned not to try and swim with the local dolphin – Dusty -after another person was hospitalised after a reported incident with the wild mammal.

On Sunday evening the woman was charged by the bottlenose dolphin as she left the water after a swim and struck in the kidney area – leaving her badly bruised and shocked/
Its the fourth such incident in recent weeks and the The Irish Whale and Dolphin Group (IWDG) has erected warning posters at Doolin pier urging people not to enter the water when Dusty is in the area.
