Announcement On Ennis Flood Protection ‘Weeks Away’

The Mayor of Ennis is confident that a positive announcement is just weeks away for flood protection in the county town.

The long-awaited Ennis South Flood Relief Scheme aims to install defences in Clonroadmore, Ballybeg and Clareabbey.

It’s already several years behind schedule but the Flood Relief Minister has assured Clare TD Joe Carey that the government and local authority are working closely together on it.
