The Irish Wildlife Trust is calling for a total shift in our attitude to waste of all kinds.
It follows a distressing image that circulated on social media over the weekend of a fox which had died as a result of plastic waste in Clare.
It’s led to widespread calls for people to pick up their waste after themselves and to bin any rubbish they see when out walking.
