More Dogs Being Killed On Motorway Than In Pounds Says Dog Warden

Clare’s County Dog Warden claims more dogs are being killed on the motorways in this county than are being put to sleep in the pound.

Frankie Coote is warning all dog owners who live near to the busy motorway and dual carriageways to ensure that their pets are unable to escape and put their lives, and the lives of drivers, in danger.

The past few weeks alone have seen four instances where dogs have lost their lives after wandering onto these busy roads.
