There’s been an increase in the number of horses that have been seized in Clare this year.
Figures released by the Minister for Agriculture show 22 horses have been seized or impounded here since the beginning of this year.
That’s the highest figure recorded in Clare since 2015, and it could yet grow before the end of December.
