Land lovers hoping to get a glimpse of a whale or dolphin this weekend without getting their feet wet, should head to West Clare tomorrow.

The Irish Whale and Dolphin Group is holding whale watching events along the coast at a number of locations including Loophead – to mark Whale Watching Day.
While ususally such events are held out in the sea, tomorrow’s watch will be on terra firma.
And there’s also a chance to go birwatching in West Clare this weekend!
As part of Heritage week, the Clare Branch of Birdwatch Ireland is inviting members of the public to the Bridges of Ross to view seabirds as they migrate on their southbound passage.
The guided outing begins at the Bridges of Ross Car Park at 10am tomorrow morning (sun)
