Former Anglo Irish Bank Chairman Sean Fitzpatrick and two other former Anglo directors have been sent forward for trial charged with financial irregularites at the bank.

The book of evidence was served in 9 volumes on Mr Fitzpatrick, Willie McAteer and Patrick Whelan who are accused of providing unlawful financial assistance to a group of investors so they could buy shares in the bank.
