A West Clare Councillor is reacting with anger after his suggestion to install mirrors at Blake’s Corner in Ennistymon to help motorists see has been shot down.
Bill Slattery was calling for a large convex mirror to be erected on a trial basis at the treacherous corner, so that approaching vehicles would be able to see around it.
However, he has been told that the ESB will not allow a mirror on any of their infrastructure and that there is no space to add another pole there.
