It’s claimed residents of a South-East Clare community have become seriously frustrated over an area that’s reportedly become a “dog dumping blackspot”.
It’s after a blind dog was discovered near the crossroads of Woodcock Hill and the Windy Gap in Cratloe behind several bags of rubbish.

The area has been persistently blighted by illegal dumping in recent times, with local residents also reporting a build up of industrial items.
Clare County Dog Warden Frankie Coote says it was a very distressing incident.
