An Ennis Councillor has reacted with anger after the local authority shot down a proposal to hold a council meeting at the Aillwee Caves.
Clare County Council had originally agreed in principal to such a move in 2016, in an effort to boost tourism and attract national attention.

However, it was brought up again at this month’s full county council meeting in which the proposal was defeated.
