Angelina Jolie's lawyer says she's ending her marriage to Brad Pitt.

Earlier the website TMZ reported that the actress has filed for divorce – citing irreconcilable differences.

The couple have six children and have been together since 2004.

Her lawyer says the decision was made for the health of the family and has asked that they be given privacy.
