A group of American teenagers are aiming to strengthen ties with Clare’s county town.
The Ennis-Phoenix Youth Ambassadors Programme is a reciprocal three-week student exchange initiative between the county town and its twin city in Arizona.

Celebrating its decades-long sister-city partnership, the program allows high school or secondary school students to live with local host families, build lasting friendships and immerse themselves in a different culture.
Youth Ambassador, Elise Taylor has been living with a host family in Clare for the past fortnight and says its been an invaluable experience.
