Amazon Tipped To Be End User Of Ennis Data Centre

Amazon has been tipped to be the end user of the Ennis Data Centre which has been given the green light this week.

The inspector’s report on the data centre development in the county town received a submission from Amazon, which has prompted Ennis Councillor Clare Colleran-Molloy to speculate that the two trillion dollar company will be the main user of the development.

Following An Bórd Pleanála’s decision to uphold Clare County Council’s approval of the development, Inagh Green Party Senator Róisín Garvey has claimed her party’s county branch will seek a judicial review of the decision.

Fianna Fáil Councillor Colleran-Molloy believes if Amazon make use of the data centre, the benefits for Clare would be immense.
