Almost Three Quarters of Clare’s 2014 Leaving Certs in Third Level

70% of Clare's Leaving Certs in 2014 went on to take up places in third level colleges.

Figures published today give a breakdown of school-by-school breakdown on which students went to what college, after the state exams in June.

100% of the 48 Leaving Certs at St. Joseph's Secondary School have gone onto further education, along with 97% of those at St. John Bosco Community College in Kildysart and 94% from St. Joseph's Secondary School in Miltown Malbay.

Rates were over 80 per cent at Scoil Mhuire, Ennistymon, Mary Immaculate Secondary School in Lisdoonvarna and in the Community College, Rice College, St. Flannan's and Coláiste Mhuire in Ennis.
