Over 149kgs of herbal cannabis has been seized at Shannon Airport today.
The illegal drugs, with an estimated value of €2,980,000, were discovered in parcels originating from Canada and were destined for an address in Clare.

This seizure is part of Revenue’s ongoing investigations involving organised crime groups and the importation, sale and supply of illegal drugs.
Investigations are ongoing.
Separately, 8.5kg of herbal cannabis, with an estimated value of over €170,800 was seized at Shannon Airport last week.
