Almost 700 people in the MidWest were living in emergency accommodation in June.
The Department of Housing latest Monthly Homelessness Report shows there has been a 5% increase in the number of adults and children accessing support services across Clare and Limerick.

In total 499 adults were recorded as homeless in both counties, 74 of these were located in Clare and 425 in Limerick.
There was also 188 dependant children documented as homeless in the MidWest, marking a 28% increase in the last year.
