Almost 40 homes could soon be coming on stream in Shannon if given the green light by Clare County Council.
Woodhaven Developments Limited is looking to deliver a residential development comprising several different types of homes in the industrial town.
The developer is seeking planning permission for a 39-unit housing development in Radharc Doire in Smithstown.
The plans consist of 27 two-storey houses, six two-storey homes with optional additional attic bedroom accommodationm, and six single-storey dwellings.
The application provides for pedestrian connectivity to Bóthar an Aerfoirt as well as ancillary site works and connection to previously applied for roads, paths and services under three different planning applications.
A Part V planning agreement with Clare County Council is included in the application, meaning up to 20% of the homes would be given to the local authority for designation as social or affordable housing.
Submissions can be made until August 13th and a decision on the plans is due to be reached by September 3rd.
