Almost 2,500 people have arrived into Clare from Ukraine since the war began.
New data from the CSO which has just been published shows the 2,489 people are among 38,700 issued Personal Public Service Numbers under the Temporary Protection Directive.

1,194 of those who’ve arrived into this county are based in the Ennistymon Electoral Area, with 619 in Ennis.
357 are based in Shannon, 282 in Kilrush, while Killaloe has the lowest number of Ukranian refugees at 37.
It comes as €52,585 in Government funding has been allocated for 12 projects across Clare, under the Communities Integration Fund.
