Almost 1,400 students across Clare are to receive their Leaving Certificate results this morning.
They’re among more than 60,000 school-leavers nationwide who’ll be finding out their marks following June’s exams.
It’s been nearly three months since 1,361 pupils across the Banner began sitting their 2022 Leaving Cert.
After a longer wait than previous years, they’ll virtually open their results this morning.
There are 710 girls and 651 boys in Clare awaiting their results in the next couple of hours.
There’s also a further 68 students in this county who’ll be getting their grades for the Leaving Certificate Applied programme.
The results of the exams will be released through the Candidate Self-Service Portal at 10am.
On Wednesday, between 5pm on Tuesday and 8pm, students will then be able to apply for their scripts to be viewed should they decide they want to appeal results in some, or all, subjects.
Education Minister Norma Foley is congratulating students and says it’s a major milestone for Leaving Cert Students.
For many, all eyes will now turn to CAO first round offers, which are released on Thursday afternoon.
