A woman found dead at a house in rural county Limerick overnight was wanted by police in the north and America in relation to claims of fraud and bigamy.
63 year old Julia Holmes – originally from Co. Down – was found dead alongside a man in the upstairs bedroom of a farmhouse at Boolaglass near Askeaton.
The scene has been sealed off and post postmortem's will be carried out by the state pathologists office in the coming hours.
Crime Correspondent with the Sunday Times John Mooney says the woman hadn't been seen alive for a number of months.
