Operators of petrol stations are being urged to be on alert after a sophisticated theft of diesel from a petrol station in Ennis.
It’s understood that a sizable amount of fuel was taken last evening when it was pumped into a large container that was inside the back of car.
The driver then left without paying, and it’s believed efforts had also been made to conceal the car’s number plate.
