Former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern says Brexit should not be used to start a border poll on a united Ireland.
Mr Ahern is addressing the Seanad on the implications of the UK’s vote to leave.
He has said the British government is deluded if they think trade deals with countries outside Europe will plug the gap left by the EU.
