Strict Protocol In Place At Clare Marts To Allow Sales Continue

The General Manager of Clare Marts is warning farmers to expect very strict protocol to be in place when they’re selling their livestock in the coming weeks.

The Agriculture Minister has this week announced that limited services can resume in marts across the country, after they had been shut down last week amid the COVID-19 lockdown.

Farmers can now deliver calves to the mart, by appointment, and the operators can facilitate the sale.
