Hanrahan Loses Out In Munster IFA Race

The Clare Chair of the IFA has missed out in his bid to become the Chair of the Association’s Munster branch.

Doonbeg farmer Willie Hanrahan secured over 1,200 votes in the election, and was eliminated after the first count, while he was just 55 votes away from making the second round.

The position ultimately went to Cork’s Howard Kingston.
