Dozens Of Clare Farmers Among Those Protesting At Leinster House

Farmers protesting in Dublin

Dozens of Clare farmers are mounting a protest outside the gates of government buildings in Dublin this afternoon.

They’re among around 1,000 nationally, who are bringing tractors from every corner of the country into the city centre, with a list of eight demands.

They’re calling for a better price for their produce and a ban on imported food being labelled as Irish among other things; while their European counterparts are holding similar demonstrations across the continent today.
