Clare Land Prices Surge By 94%

Agricultural land prices in Clare surged by 94 percent in the space of a year.

The figures contained in the Irish Farmers Journal’s annual land price report reveals the number of farms put up for sale in the county rose to 16, up from 12 the year before.

Ten of the farms sold, with the average price standing at €11,265 per acre, with business buyers to the fore buying two thirds of the farm holdings sold.
