Clare Farmers To Attend IFA Regional Rally Calling For New Policy

The Clare Chair of the Irish Farmers Association feels that elements of the current CAP policy are “outrageous”.

It comes as farmers from this county are due to attend a regional rally in Cork against the proposals this evening – one of four organised by the IFA and lead by the group’s President Tim Cullinan.

The marches are aimed at highlighting how the current Government is pursuing policies that the organisation believe will “decimate Ireland’s largest indigenous sector”.
