Agriculture Minister Confident Agri Food Regulator Will Reward Hard Work Of Clare Farmers

The Minister For Agriculture claims new legislation will ensure fair play across the supply chain for Clare’s Primary Producers.

Th Agri-Food Regulator Bill which passed through the Dáil last month, will examine commercial relationships between food producers, processors and retailers.

The body known as An Riálálaí Agribhia is currently operating on an interim basis and upon Seanad approval will have the remit to investigate unfair trading practices in the sector.
