Aer Lingus To Boost Passenger Numbers At Shannon

Aer Lingus says it's adding an extra 55,000 seats on its flights from Shannon Airport next year.

The airline has announced details of its 2016 summer schedule, which has no new destinations.

However, an additional 10,000 passengers each will be accomodated on extra weekly services to Faro and Malaga.

Meanwhile, the former flag carrier is stepping up capacity on its flights to Heathrow by using a larger Airbus A320 aircraft.
