Aer Lingus Decision Due in “weeks”

The Transport Minister says a definitive decision will be made in a matter of weeks on the future of Aer Lingus.

An inter-departmental group examining the bid from International Airlines Group is understood to be finalising its report for Paschal Donohoe.

 

Also today the UK competition authority says it will not change its decision ordering Ryanair to sell-down its 30% stake in the former national flag carrier.

 

Minister Donohoe says the Cabinet will make a decision on the State's 25% stake in Aer Lingus in a matter of weeks.
