Steven Kavanagh wrote to Labour Junior Minister Ged Nash last night – stating that the airline has a strong preference to use direct labour wherever this can be done "effectively and efficiently".
And he said it's their clear preference to avoid compulsory redundancies.
Some Labour TDs have expressed concerns about the takeover, most notable Clare's Michael McNamara who has said he may vote against it in the Dáil.
