Flights services at Shannon could be boosted further this year as Aer Arann announces a package of measures to grow its route network in the country.

Under the Aer Lingus Regional Banner – the Irish carrier currently operates flights from the MidWest to Manchester, Edinburgh and Birmingham, which it describes as crucial links in its network.
Aer Arann now aims to double its passsenger numbers by two million over the next five years and says Shannon Airport is of strategic importance to that plan.
Its now extended its franchise agreement with Aer Lingus, is taking delivery of new aircraft and Chief Commericial Officer Simon Fagan says their future in the mid west is bright
