An advocacy group lobbying for full reviews into allegations of Garda malpractice and corruption hopes the next Minister for Justice will be called before the UN Human Rights Committee to answer questions about a recent review process.

The review looked at cases including the death of Sixmilebridge man Patrick Nugent in Bunratty in 1984, but was dismissed as "utterly meaningless" by Justice4All.
They're now looking to lodge an appeal with the UN's Human Rights Council, in a move which the Nugent family hope will bring their three-decade campaign for truth to an end.
Patrick's brother Martin says this will continue, potentially as far as the UN's Human Rights Council.
