It’s claimed the development of adventure sports in the Shannon Estuary could provide massive opportunities for the tourism industry in Clare.
Independent Limerick Councillor Emmett O’Brien wants to make use of the natural resource to expand tourism in the area.
He believes the potential is there to host leisure sailing, kayaking and other water sports.
