An additional 100,000 euro has been granted towards the cost of hosting this year's Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann in Ennis.

The allocation is part of funding of over 1.8million euro which has been announced by Failte Ireland for 23 festivals and events around Ireland in 2016.
The world's biggest Irish traditional music festival is returning to Ennis for the first time in nearly 40 years and will run from the 14th to 22nd of August.
Welcoming the funding, Clare Fine Gael TD Pat Breen says it's shaping up to be a big year for the county.
