A Clare member of the regional health forum says the provision of more beds is the only way to solve the overcrowding problem at the region's main hospital.

Yesterday saw a higher number of people awaiting beds at University Hospital Limerick than anywhere else in the country, for a third day in a row.
In a statement issued to Clare FM, UL Hospitals Group says it regrets that any patient had to wait for bed and that the delays are due to a high numbers of patients presenting at the facility, particularly in the older age profile.
Sixmilebridge Independent Councillor P.J Ryan says he's disappointed by the situation, but not surprised.
