The iconic Hollywood child star Shirley Temple has died at the age of 85.

The actress, singer and dancer – best known for her dimples and ringlets – lured millions to the movies during the depression of the 1930s.
In later life she served as a diplomat for the US Government.
In 2006 she was presented with a lifetime achievement award by the Screen Actor's Guild.
