A part-time caretaker is being hired for a cemetery in Parteen so that people can visit the graves of their loved ones outside of office hours.
An ongoing dispute with the landowner has meant access to Kilquane Cemetery has been restricted for the last four years and people must request a key from a local business during normal working hours.
The new caretaker will have a key to allow for vehicular access to the graveyard, though will be by appointment only.
