Academy Manager Says Clare Has Become Golden Destination For Film Producers

The Manager of a MidWest film academy says Clare has become a golden destination for producers across the world.

It comes as Film in Limerick, who are developing the Mid-West and wider region as an exciting hub for Film and TV production, has this week won the BAFTA for film commission of the year.

It follows a number of succesful programmes filmed in this county in recent years such as Smother which was shot in Lahinch and Blackshore which includes scenes in Killaloe.
