The Garda Inspectorate has reported the highest percent of penalty points quashing occured in Clare in 2012.

The document – published yesterday – show's Clare had an higher than average incidence of the deletion of fixed charge notices in 2012.
The county saw almost 1500 penalty points issued that year with just under one thousand quashed at 6.66 per cent.
