Anti Austerity Alliance say the new bin charges are the beginning of a wide spread policy of privatisation – in Irish society.
New pay by weight charges are due to kick in on Friday the 1st of July and some companies have told customers they'll be increasing prices as a result.

The party are calling on Minister for Housing Simon Coveney to freeze bin charges immediately and will stage a protest in opposition to the increases later today.
