Both men had been living rough in a public toilet at the time of Mr Pavelka's death.
Piotr Baram vowed to turn his life around following Josef's passing and has since undergone treatment for alcoholism and is now being supported in Laurel Lodge Ennis.
The Czech national says people in the town have been very good to him.
