95 Patients On Trolleys At UHL As Covid Numbers Reduce

The region’s main hospital remains extremely busy today.

The latest figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation shows there were 95 patients on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick this morning, only a marginal reduction on yesterday’s figure.

The number of Covid patients at the Dooradoyle facility has dropped, however, since the weekend.

The HSE has reported that there are 78 patients at University Hospital Limerick who’ve tested positive for the virus, down 11 on Monday morning.

The number in intensive care with the virus has reduced by 2 over the same period.
