Over 900 Ukranian Pupils Enrolled In Clare Schools At School Year End

Over 900 Ukrainian pupils were enrolled in Clare schools at the end of the school year.

584 of those were in primary schools in the county, with 344 attending post primary schools.

They’re among 15 thousand 625 enrolled in schools across the country.

The latest Department of Education data indicates an enrolment rate of 88 per cent among Ukrainian children aged 5 to 18.
