Over 90 Percent Of Remains Of Woman Found In Wicklow Mountains Located

Gardaí say over 90 per cent of the remains of a woman who was found in the Wicklow Mountains.

She has been named as Patricia O’Connor – a grandmother in her early 60s from Rathfarnham in South Dublin.

Gardai have been carrying out door to door inquiries all day here in Mountain View Park in Rathfarhnam where she lived.

They’re trying to track her last movements before she was murdered and her body parts scattered in the Wicklow Mountains.

Locals have described the grandmother- who was in her early 60s – as a lovely, hardworking woman.

Searches continued in the Wicklow Mountains today for more clues into how Patricia O’Connor died.

A man in his 30s remains in custody in Wexford as part of the murder investigation.
